VIDEO: East Columbus Shooting

COLUMBUS, Miss, (WCBI)-It was around 8:30 Tuesday night when Columbus police officers responded to a shots fired call on Poplar Street.

Investigators confirmed one person was shot.

The victim was transported to Baptist Memorial Hospital and is listed in critical condition.

The shooting happened inside of home, and at this time CPD said they’re not seeking a suspect.

Neighbors tell WCBI the victim is a teenage male.

CPD is continuing to investigate the incident.
