Video: Second Suspect Charged in Calhoun City Home Invasion

CALHOUN CITY, Miss. (WCBI) – Calhoun City police have made a second arrest in a Monday morning home invasion that left a woman with multiple gunshot wounds.

Assitant Police Chief Tito Lopez says officers arrested Avery Hill Monday night in Pittsboro. He is charged with attempted murder.

Quentin Conner, 21, was arrested and charged Monday afternoon.

Lopez says the two suspects broke into the house at 307 North Main through a back door about 1 o’clock Monday morning.

Miriam Williams, 21, was shot multiple times. She remains hospitalized.

Lopez says one weapon was recovered at the scene.
