Video: Sec. of State Hosemann Discusses Voter ID Law

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) — And when you cast your ballot on June 3, you’ll have to show a photo ID.

Secretary of State Delbert Hoseman was in our area today, raising awareness about the new voter ID law.

More than 60-percent of voters approved the constitutional amendment back in 2011.

Hosemann tells us he believes showing an ID will speed up the voting process.

Temporary IDs will be available starting Saturday.

Secretary Hoseman will join me tomorrow morning at 9 a.m. on mid-morning with more information on the new voter ID law, and what’s required when you go vote.
