Video: Rite of Passage for MUW Nursing Students

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) -Over a hundred students took a big step in their Nursing careers Monday.

The College of Nursing and Speech Pathology at Mississippi University for Women held its annual White Coat Ceremony on Monday afternoon.

The ceremony marks the students entry into the program.

The future medical professionals took an oath of service and received the white coats that will become part of their training uniforms.

Johnny Judson, a nurse recruiter with Baptist Golden Triangle, and a W Alum, was this year’s guest speaker.
