COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) – Clean up continues in Lowndes County and volunteers are still needed.

The Board of Supervisors put the local disaster declaration on the official minutes at Monday’s meeting.

There isn’t enough damage in to get a national declaration.

Some storm victims who need help clearing trees are calling emergency management.

The county cannot remove debris from private property.

If you’d like to volunteer, call the EMA office.
