WASHINGTON D.C. (WCBI) – Representative Alan Nunnelee is continuing to recover after having a tumor removed from his brain. The Congressman is receiving radiation, chemotherapy, and speech and mobility rehabilitation at the Johns Hopkins Outpatient Center.
Nunnelee suffered a stroke while he was having a tumor removed from his brain in June. The stroke caused some speech and mobility issues. Nunnelee has represented the First District since 2011. He faces Democrat Brad Morris and three other candidates for that seat in November.
