ABERDEEN, Miss. (WCBI) – State Representative Chris Brown wants your input on how to make Mississippi a better place to live.
Brown met with community leaders and residents in Aberdeen Saturday morning to discuss concerns of his constituents and find solutions. He’s touring northeast Mississippi towns including Smithville, Amory, and Nettleton. Some Monroe County residents came out to talk about economic development and bringing in new industries. Brown says his goal is to reach out to those who’ve allowed him to serve and let their voices be heard.
“We’re trying to get government back in the hands of the people. It’s a listening tour so I just want to hear from people, see what their concerns are and try to answer those concerns,” says Brown.
Brown has served on several House committees including Ways and Means, transportation and medicaid.
