Video: Public Forum on Reducing Violence Held In Starkville

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI)- On Sunday, communities nationwide were invited to participate in a national public forum. Dozens of cities across the country held moderated discussions on “Safety and Justice: How Should Communities Reduce Violence?  Locally, the forum took place in Starkville at the Trinity Presbyterian Church.   The event was led by a faculty member from MSU’s Department of Communications.   Participants were asked to consider the specific actions that could be taken to reduce violence.  Mississippi State’s Department of Communication sponsored Sunday’s public forum.
