Video: Preparations Underway For 2014 Father Daughter Gumtree Ball

TUPELO, Miss. (WCBI) — Preparations are underway for what promises to be a special evening for Daddies and Daughters.

Volunteers are busy decorating the Bancorpsouth Arena for the 2014 “Father Daughter Gumtree Ball.”  That event is a fundraiser for LeBonheur Children’s Hospital.

It all takes place Saturday evening and includes a DJ, dancing,  food,  silent auction, a live auction,  and many other activities, along with lots of special guests.

Nearly a thousand tickets have been sold and the ball is a sell out. The event has grown in popularity each year and WCBI will have more on the dance, and two longtime participants this weekend.
