VIDEO: Police Search for Remaining Burglars

LOUISVILLE, Miss. (WCBI) – Louisville Police Department is on the lookout for several burglars that were a part of a string of break-ins in downtown Louisville.

With the burglaries happening so close together, it didn’t take long for police to see that they were linked.

Officers were able to make several arrests thanks to tips from the public and crime stoppers.

They want to encourage people to continue giving police with any information they have on these burglars.

“So far we’ve made two arrests. Those who were above the age of 18; they are considered adults. We made two arrests. We’ve interviewed one juvenile and charged him and released him to the custody of his parents. We have several more persons of interest that we need to talk to, so the investigation is ongoing and we do expect there to be more arrests in it,” said Louisville Chief of Police, L.M. Claiborne.
