TUPELO, MISS. (WCBI) – One event in our area this weekend promises fun, a throwback to the seventies, lots of facial hair, and it is all for a great cause.
The annual Mustache Bash takes place Saturday evening at the JJ Rogers building in Tupelo.
Saturday’s event will have a seventies theme, with a disco ball, dancers, and other surprises from that decade.
This is the fifth, and final, Mustache Bash, and it serves as a fundraiser for the Autism Center of Tupelo.
“They do a really good job and their biggest issue they have is they are underfunded. There are a lot of organizations around here and a lot of them are underfunded but this is the one we choose to help out, we have some personal connections to them, and anything that can help them out is a good thing,” said Jason Hayden, owner of Cafe 212 and co founder of Mustache Bash.
You don’t have to have a mustache to attend the bash. It all starts at 7 30 Saturday night. Tickets are 20 dollars. For more information go to https://www.facebook.com/events/585136431633704/
