Video: Oxford and Ole Miss Get Bike Lanes – For One Month

OXFORD, Miss. (WCBI) -It’s a lane of their own. For one month only, two new bike lanes have been added to University Avenue near the University of Mississippi campus.

The lanes begin at 5th Street and University Avenue and continue past the Ford Center to the entrance to the campus.

The road change is an effort between the city and the university to promote bike safety and awareness.

Temporary striping will be in place through July.
