Video: Overturned Truck Causes Traffic Headaches in Tupelo

TUPELO, Miss. (WCBI) -An 18-wheeler carrying bottled water caused back-ups and traffic delays Friday morning on Highway 78 in Tupelo.

It happened near Veterans Boulevard in the eastbound lane of 78 just before 6 a.m.

There were no injuries in the roll over accident. But the eastbound lane was partially blocked while workers from the Mississippi Department of Transportation helped off-load the water by hand.

Traffic in the westbound lane had slow going as well as drivers slowed down to take a look.

Tupelo police worked the accident. The roadway was cleared by 1pm
