VIDEO: Ole Miss Community In Mourning

OXFORD, Miss. (WCBI) — Large crowds gathered at The Grove at the University of Mississippi Monday to mourn the loss of the three Oxford couples who died when their small plane went down Sunday morning in Tuscaloosa County, Alabama.

The prayer vigil drew families with children, former patients, friends and co-workers.

“We come together and help each other, these kids need it”, said University Chancellor Jeffrey Vitter, “They’re going to be growing up fast now and we have to be there for them…whether it’s sharing our grief in tears or it’s joy of the lives of their parents and helping them move to that next stage.”
