STARKVILLE, Miss. (WCBI) – A healing center is officially open for patients who need special medical care.
The OCH Wound Healing and Hyperbaric Center held a grand opening Tuesday afternoon.
The center is located on the third floor of the OCH Regional Medical Center.
The state of the art facility provides treatment for those suffering from diabetic ulcers, gangrene, carbon monoxide poisoning, spider bites, and other infections that haven’t healed in 30 days.
CEO and Administrator Mike Andrews says the center provides a great need in the Golden Triangle.
“We want to have a local service where people feel comfortable having their wounds attended to.”
The grand opening provided patients the opportunity to tour the facility, meet the staff, and ask questions.
