STARKVILLE, Miss. (WCBI) – It’s National Hospital Week and organizations all over the country are honoring staff for their service. Oktibbeha County Hospital participated in the festivities this week, as they also turned 40.
Staff at OCH in Starkville were treated to a picnic style lunch today that included hamburgers, hot dogs and all the trimmings. The hospital is celebrating its 40th anniversary in Oktibbeha County and the CEO says they are happy to honor their staff and doctors.
“We’re very proud of our employees and appreciate what they do and our doctors do for taking care of the community and residents when they need to use hospital services. It’s a team effort for providing health care to our community,” says Hilton.
National Hospital Week began in 1921 and was created by the American Hospital Association.
