Video: Noxubee Refuge Starts Charging for Entry Passes

OKTIBBEHA COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) -Beginning September First, a visit to the Noxubee Refuge will cost you .

Entrance passes are now required for all visitors 16 and older. Daily passes are $5.00. An annual pass is $25.00. You can buy a pass at the Visitor Center at the Sam D. Hamilton Noxubee Refuge.

Annual passes and hunting permits can also be purchased online.

The fees will help staff improve trails, roads, and boat ramps, along with maintaining rest areas and signage.
