VIDEO: Noxubee Outlasts Louisville To Win “Toothpick Bowl”

WATCH: Tootpick Bowl 2016 was a tale of two halves. The Noxubee Tigers and the Louisville Wildcats, got off to a slow start in the 2016 season, but have been turning the corner in recent weeks. This is the rivalry game that could help one of these teams launch into the second half of the season. The Tigers got out of the gates fast, leading 28-6 at halftime, and 28-12 after three. The “Powercats” didn’t go down without a fight, putting up two fourth quarters touchdowns, but it was too little, too late. Tyrone Shorter and the Tigers defeat M.C. Miller and the Wildcats 34-26, and take claim to the Toothpick Bowl for another year. Noxubee improves to 5-4, and Louisville falls to 4-5.
