CLINTON, Miss. (WCBI) — No, it’s not dejavu: it really is the same game as last year.
Only this time, Noxubee County has much more to play for in the 4A State Championship game vs. Saint Stanislaus.
The Tigers, coached by Tyrone Shorter, are one win away from bringing home the 4A State Title for the second year in a row, something that no other Noxubee team has ever done.
Much has been made in recent years as to who the best Noxubee County team is in the school’s recent rich history, but this year’s team could go down as the most successful 4-year group with a third title in four years.
Noxubee will face off against the Rock-A-Chaws on Saturday at 3:00pm from Vaught Hemingway Stadium. The game will be broadcasted on North Mississippi’s CW4 in the greater WCBI viewing area. Check your local listings to find CW4 on your channel lineup.
