Video: North Mississippi Towns Celebrate Labor Day

VERONA and TREMONT, Miss. (WCBI) -The sounds of the second annual Verona Labor Day Parade Monday morning. More than 20 people, elected leaders, and organizations were in the parade.

It was organized by the St Joseph Masonic Lodge number 131 in Verona. At the end of the parade, the lodge provided refreshments and gave out school supplies at the fire department.

Relaxing on Labor Day. This was the scene in Tremont Monday.There was plenty of music for entertainment, food and vintage cars.

Hundreds turned at the town’s main intersection for the big event.  Folks got a first hand look at the classic rides from the 1930’s through the 2000’s.
