VIDEO: New Tupelo Restaurant Gives Back To The Community

TUPELO, Miss. (WCBI) – A new restaurant in our area is giving back to a non profit that helps develop champions.

The newest Salsarita’s Fresh Cantina held its official grand opening this morning in Tupelo.

All day, twenty percent of sales will go to the Boys and Girls Clubs of North Mississippi.

Owners of the restaurant, which serves fresh, made to order Mexican food, say they want to give back to the communities they’re located in.

“We firmly believe it’s important to be part of the community, when we come to a different location, this is our fourth location, in the state of Mississippi and every restaurant we open we have identified with a certain group within that community,” says managing partner in the business J.C. Clark.

The restaurant is located on North Gloster Street, right in front of Lowe’s .

This week is a big one for the Boys and Girls Clubs, the annual “Dance Like the Stars” fundraiser takes place this Saturday at the Bancorpsouth Arena.
