Video: New Jail Fully Operational in Noxubee County

MACON, Miss. (WCBI) – It’s out with the old and in with the new for the Noxubee County Sheriff’s Department. Their new Jail is now fully operational.

All of the inmates have been moved to the new Noxubee County Adult Detention Center.

It’s a project that’s been 10 years in the making.

The new jail has a space to house female inmates. There’s also a lockdown room and 24-7 surveillance video.
