Video: New Hope’s Melton Signs with Northeast CC Softball

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) — One of the top softball players in the area put pen to paper on Friday.

New Hope High School senior Alex Melton signed to continue her career on the diamond with Northeast Community College following graduation.

Melton hit .378 as a junior in fast pitch with 28 runs and 10 RBI’s.
