STARKVILLE, Miss. (WCBI Sports) – Mississippi State senior quarterback Dak Prescott added a trophy to his collection of awards and records Thursday.
Prescott was named the winner of the inaugural MSU M-Club’s Leo W. Seal Jr. Athlete of the Year Award at the university’s Sports Hall of Fame banquet.
The award recognizes the top MSU athlete for the 2014-15 athletic year and is named in honor of the late Leo Seal Jr., a former Bulldog player from 1947-48 and long-time supporter of MSU Athletics.
Prescott holds 23 school records, leading the Bulldogs to a number-one national ranking in 2014, a first for the program.
