STARKVILLE, Miss. (WCBI)-
Mississippi State students moving onto campus this morning were met by faculty, staff and other students.
They were all there to show their support and help with the move-in day.
More than 3-thousand freshman, a record class, will spend the weekend moving into their dorm rooms.
And they had a little help from and MSU VIP.
“I think it’s important for me personally to come out with members of my family to welcome families who are bringing their sons and daughters to the university, it’s an exciting time and it’s an emotional time and we’ve got such a great team of volunteers over 500 from all across the cvampus that are actually helping families move their son or daughter into the residence.” said Mark Keenum, MSU’s President.
Classes start August 16th.
