VIDEO: Motel Fire Destroys 3 Rooms

TUPELO, Miss. (WCBI)- The Tupelo Fire Department is still trying to figure out what started a Motel fire earlier this evening.

A fire started inside one of the rooms at the Town House Motel on South Gloster in Tupelo a little after 3PM.

The owner says he saw white smoke puffing from the ceiling and called the fire department.

Three rooms were ultimately ruined from fire and water damage- the roofing caved in on two of them.

There were no injuries, and the Salvation Army bus came and picked up displaced guests.

The fire is still under investigation.
