Video: Monroe County SALT Team Distributes Weather Radios

ABERDEEN, Miss. (WCBI) -More than 100 Monroe County residents will be better prepared the next time severe weather strikes.

The Monroe County Sheriff’s Department outreach Seniors and Law Enforcement Together, or SALT handed out over a hundred weather radios Thursday.

And they brought in a couple of experts. Chief Meteorologist Keith Gibson and Promotions Director Brennan Dockery were on hand to help program the radios.

A grant from the Mississippi Leadership Council on Aging helped pay for the radios.
