STARKVILLE, Miss. (WCBI) — There’s no escaping the game now.

Mississippi State will face the No. 1 team in women’s college basketball on Saturday, when they visit Bridgeport, Connecticut to see the 3-time defending National Champion UConn Huskies.

Most teams see the “UConn” across the front of the jersey and immediately become afraid of what’s to come, but not Mississippi State.
