Video: MHP Trooper Recognized

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) – The Exchange Club of Columbus honors its Trooper of the Year.

Mississippi Highway Patrol Staff Sargeant Stanley Mitchell received the honor during a special ceremony Thursday.

The Noxubee County native works in Troop G and has spent his entire twenty two years with the MHP in Winston County.

Mitchell was nominated by his peers and a committee made the final selection.

The Exchange Club recognizes a highway patrolman every year.
