Video: “Messiah” Returns to Columbus

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) – It was a show of Christmastime Harmony Tuesday night at Annunciation Catholic Church in Columbus..

A packed house was on hand as singers from across the area and musicians from Mississippi, Alabama, and Tennessee joined together to present one of the most recognizable musical works of Christmas, Handel’s ” Messiah”.

The Columbus Sings Messiah Orchestra and Chorus, under the baton of Dr. Doug Browning,  puts in months of rehearsal for the performance.

The oratorio has been a holiday staple in Columbus for several years.
