VIDEO: Mantachie Fundraising Festival

MANTACHIE, Miss. (WCBI)- The rain didn’t dampen the enthusiasm in Mantachie, as the community came together to raise money for a good cause.

The city park was the appropriate setting for a fundraiser to build a splash pad and some new playground equipment.

There was plenty to do at the Mantachie Spring Market. Including, sampling some homemade ice cream being made right on the spot.

The children eve enjoyed some inflatable toys.

Event coordinator, Carrie Buse, says a splash pad is very important for the children.
