Video: Man Sentenced to 30 Years for Saltillo Bank Robbery

OXFORD, Miss. (WCBI) – The man convicted of robbing a Lee County bank is headed to Federal Prison.

U.S. District Judge Sharion Aycock sentenced Chris Cosner to 30 years in prison for the July 2015 hold-up of the First American Bank in Saltillo.

In April a jury found Cosner guilty of armed bank robbery.

Cosner’s lawyers had asked that the verdict be set aside. A judge rejected that motion.

Cosner will also face 5 years post-release supervision, and must pay over $4,000 in restitution.
