OXFORD, Miss. (WCBI) – The Elvis impersonator who was accused of trying to poison the President is suing the FBI and U.S. Attorney.
Paul Kevin Curtis of Corinth was arrested in 2013.
In court documents, Curtis is also suing the Department of Justice and John Marshall Alexander, Criminal Chief for the U.S. Attorney’s Office.
Curtis claims his civil rights were violated, false arrest, wrongful incarceration, and emotional stress.
At the time Curtis was accused of sending ricin to Senator Roger Wicker’s Washington office, President Obama, and Lee County Judge Sadie Holland.
Curtis was released and the charges dropped after James Dutschke was arrested.
