Video: Maben Church Replaces Old Steeple

Maben, Miss. (WCBI) – It has been a focal point in Maben for over 50 years, but Thursday it came down.The steeple on Maben’s First Baptist Church was removed Thursday morning. The steeple had developed a leak, and was in danger of causing damage to other parts of the building.

It was a tall order to fill, but American Steeple and Baptistries of Wedowee, Alabama made short work of the removal.  The new steeple was set into place late Thursday afternoon.
