Video: Lowndes County Supervisors Pass Budget With a Few Tweaks

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) -Lowndes County Supervisors only made one change Tuesday to the FY 2016 budget.

Supervisors approved a pay increase for court reporters. The Lowndes County portion of that increase will equal about $17,000.00 a year.

The balance of the county plan was approved as presented.

Lowndes County expenditures for the new year will be 39.3 million dollars. The budget goes into effect October 1st.
