Video: Lowndes County Supervisors Hold Another Stormy Meeting

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) -Tempers flare while Lowndes County leaders talk about job descriptions and hiring an IT worker.

During Tuesday’s meeting, supervisors agreed to advertise for the position, with the person making $45,000 to $50,000.

Board President Harry Sanders and District 5 Supervisor Leroy Brooks heldd a heated discussion about pay raises and job descriptions for employees.

Now, the county’s EMA Administrative Assistant will take on new responsibilities and get a pay raise.

EMA Director Cindy Lawrence will now also serve as the address coordinator.
