Video: Lee County Elected Officials Sworn in

TUPELO, miss. (WCBI) -Elected Lee County officials are ready to get to work.

A packed courtroom watched Tuesday morning as the people elected in November took the oath of office from Judge Thomas Gardner.

Everyone from the circuit clerk to judges and deputies to the coroner and supervisors were sworn in.

“I’m extremely excited about serving the people of Lee County and I can’t thank the voters enough and I just want everyone to know that at the Circuit Clerk’s office, our doors are always open if anybody ever needs our help or assistance.”
“I look forward to serving people of Lee County and I am just excited for all the other judges as well.”

More than 20 elected officials took the oath of office during the ceremony.
