Video: Kids Enjoy ‘Fun Day’ in Starkville

STARKVILLE, Miss. (WCBI) — Summer isn’t here just yet, but that isn’t stopping Starkville youth from having some fun in the sun.

Dozens of kids came out to King Memorial Park in Starkville for Fun Day.

They kicked off the afternoon with dancing, food, and games.

The event was a part of a mentoring program organized by Volunteer Nissa Douglas. The program also includes mentoring, tutoring and support groups.

True Life Camp also came out and will host their camp at King Memorial Park this summer.
