Video: Key Congresswoman Tours Airbus Plant

LOWNDES COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – An Alabama U.S. Representative learns more about Lowndes County’s Airbus facility.

Martha Roby of the Second Congressional District took a tour today, where the U. S. Army’s UH-72A Lakota Helicopters are made.

She is a Congresswoman for the region around Fort Rucker and a member of the House Appropriations Committee.

Roby has pledged support for men and women in uniform, and for the Mississippi- built Lakota.

“I’m going to continue my work on behalf of the military families that I represent to ensure that we are providing them with what they need. And this is a huge component to that in our ability to train the best.”

20 of the UH-72A Lakota Helicopters have been shipped to Fort Rucker.
