Video: Itawamba AHS Hosts Maikhail Miller Memorial Scholarship Fundraiser

FULTON, Miss. (WCBI) — Sports bring people together and they did so again on Saturday.

Itawamba AHS hosted the Maikhail Miller Memorial Scholarship Fundraiser on Saturday by hosting a 7 on 7 flag football tournament. Ten teams registered for the event as this joins the alumni baseball game in May that was hosted to benefit the Maikhail Miller Memorial Scholarship Fund.

Brothers Vijay and Tray were in attendance and competed in the 7 on 7 tournament.

Maikhail tragically lost his life in an automobile accident in January of 2016. Since then, the school has held events in his honor to raise money for a Scholarship Fund in his name.
