VIDEO: Investigation Continues For Houston High Vandalism
HOUSTON, Miss. (WCBI)- An investigation is still underway here at Houston High School where we’re told a group of students vandalized the school over the weekend.
School officials met with Houston Police Chief Billy Voyles and conservation officers with Mississippi wildlife, fisheries and parks, Tuesday. They want to know who vandalized the Chickasaw County school this past weekend.
“The game and fish is down here at the school with us and with the Houston Police Department, so we’re trying to sort everything out and it’s still under investigation,” says Voyles.
On Monday, educators found toilet paper covering the school.
Some upset viewers sent us this picture as well, a dead deer was hanging outside of the school.
Game and fish was called in to assist in the investigation because of the deer.
No charges have been filed yet, but Voyles tells us a group of suspected students are being interviewed.
Police Chief Voyles tells us that the suspected group of students are all juveniles.
