Video: Houston’s Tanner Smith Signs with Northeast Baseball

HOUSTON, Miss. (WCBI) — One of the fun bunch is ready to take his talents elsewhere.

Senior baseball pitcher Tanner Smith at Houston High made it official today as he will continue his diamond dreams with the Northeast Tigers following graduation.

Smith was a major part of Houston’s first ever baseball State Championship during the 2016 baseball campaign as he finished with an 11-0 record on the mound with a 0.89 ERA and 96 strikeouts.
