Video: Houston Getting Outside Help With Development Planning

HOUSTON, Miss. (WCBI) – The Chickasaw County town of Houston sees itself as an uncut diamond. Now some experts from Massachusetts, Wisconsin and Washington will join local residents and city leaders to develop a plan to turn it into a polished gem. Houston is one of four communities across the country picked for an intensive three-day design symposium. It kicks off Sunday with the goal of developing ways to tie together the Tanglefoot Trail, downtown Houston and the Natchez Trace Parkway.

The seminar continues through Tuesday with most sessions held at the Houston Civic Center.
