Video: Horseman Taking his Message “Cross” Country

LOWNDES COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) -A Louisiana man is a on a mission to spread the Christian message. And he’s doing it on horseback.

Tyler Smith and his horse, Sampson, are on a two-month journey from Louisiana to Washington. The have only the necessities and a Christian Flag.

Smith travels 23 miles a day.Once he makes it to Washington, Smith plans to place the flag in front of the Capitol building.

“It’s just turning man, it’s turning from the way it used to be people do not respect one another anymore people do not have any value for one another anymore. That’s got to top man or else we ain’t going to be nobody.”

Smith hopes to reach the nation’s capitol by Christmas.
