Video: Homes Destroyed and Damaged in Winston County

WINSTON COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) –In Winston county some residents lost their homes.

A house and a trailer on Ebenezer Road were both damaged by the storm.

Both homes received massive roof damage.

And in this mobile home as you can see, a bedroom is just completely destroyed.

Winston County Sheriff Jason Pugh and his deputies were at both homes trying to assist residents.

Both homeowners are staying with family members for the night. No injuries were reported.

“Thank goodness everybody is alright down here, that’s our biggest thing. We had some property damage at this home here and at the trailer across the road but everybody is going to be alright. Red Cross is coming to assist, but our main goal right now is to put this tarp up over this house to keep it from getting wet in case there is some more rain.”
