Video: High School Juniors Get A Dose Of Reality
LOWNDES COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – Local high school students get a taste of the real world.
Junior Auxiliary of Columbus presented its Reality Fair at West Lowndes High School Thursday.
Eleventh graders made their way through the hands-on, real life simulation.
Students were paid a monthly salary based on their GPA, then visited different booths to pay typical household expenses.
The exercise helps them better understand what it takes to live day to day as an adult.
Students at Columbus Christian Academy also participated in the reality fair.
