Video: Healthworks! Helps Tupelo Students Shape Up

TUPELO, Miss. (WCBI)–Students at one Tupelo Elementary school had the opportunity to learn about health and nutrition in a fun way. Staff from “Healthworks” spent the day at Lawndale Elementary, playing games with students, and leading them through interactive lessons on health and nutrition. It’s all part of the “Together We Can” Initiative and its aim is to take programs at “Healthworks” to elementary age children throughout the area. There are games about proper nutrition and also lots of information about exercise and health.

The initiative is funded through a grant from Toyota.
