CALEDONIA, Miss. (WCBI) –Residents around Caledonia have a new option for postal service.

On Wednesday Malone’s Grocery held a grand opening for the area’s newest Village Post Office.

The new location offers a full selection of postal products and services, with the added convenience of seven day service and longer hours.

“It gives the neighborhood an added dimension, and it also extends the postal services company. We are more in touch with the rural areas.”

“The post office hours is not flexible for a lot of people that work, so we are open almost 24/7 till 10 o’clock at night and on the weekend so you can buy your stamps and get your prepaid boxes.”

The Village Post office is Open Monday through Saturday 5 AM to 10 PM and Sundays 5 AM to 9 PM.
