Video: Food, Fun, and Music at Tallahatchie Riverfest

NEW ALBANY, Miss. (WCBI)-The rain cleared out in just enough time for visitors to attend the Tallahatchie Riverfest in Downtown New Albany.

The festival kicked off with a 5K run followed by plenty of activities for the whole family to enjoy.

Several arts and craft vendors lined the streets along with tasty food vendors.

There was also live music with local talents such as the Mink Brothers and Mississippi Moon.

American Idol Skylar Laine will perform on the main stage at 8:30 p.m., Saturday.
