Video: Flat Tire Lands Truck in Highway 82 Median

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) – A flat tire sent a dump truck into the median of a busy Columbus highway and snarled traffic for hours.

The crash happened in the eastbound lane of Highway 82, just after the 18th Avenue exit.

Columbus police report the driver said a flat tire sent the big truck into the median.

Large wreckers were called to help remove the truck.

Workers had to shut down the highway, at times, to get the rig out.

No one was injured.
